Business Innovation Forum - think outside the boxTaking place on the 8th of November at the cutting edge Lufthansa Seeheim facility near Frankfurt, the Lufthansa Business Innovation Forum 2016 brought together over 80 senior representatives to recognize and promote innovative activity within Lufthansa Group.

Qmarkets’ very own CEO and founder, Noam Danon, was joined in attendance by VP Marketing, Eran Tsur at this exclusive internal event in Central Germany.

It was a pleasure for the Qmarkets team to attend this event, and truly inspiring for us to witness the internal efforts of Lufthansa to implement a culture of innovation across the company. Events like this are certainly a brilliant way to boost your innovation project and make sure that all employees and departments are engaged with the initiative.

This gathering of senior innovation management professionals was used as an opportunity to showcase some of the ground-breaking partners and start-ups which Lufthansa is working with to fuel innovation at the company. As such, it was a natural choice for Qmarkets to be invited to share their innovative offerings and insights with guests. Alongside these “Marketplace” sessions, the agenda contained dedicated thought-leadership workshops and presentations, which were hosted by leading experts from various industry domains.

The focus at the business innovation forum shifted between a wide variety of themes and trends, but some key topics included Big Data, the Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence. After a day which was full to the brim with enlightening discussions and engaging speakers, guests had the pleasure of attending the Lufthansa Innovation Awards dinner, where recognition was given to the most innovative ideas submitted by teams across the company in 2016.
