Authentication & User Provisioning
Qmarkets’ idea management software enables you to carry out a one-time integration to your back-end database of employees, allowing your users to smoothly and securely login to our platform without the need to authenticate a username or password.
On a more technical level, Qmarkets’ Single-Sign-On (SSO) is able to use common, standard protocols, such as SAML or Kerberos, as well as other proprietary methods that your IT department might use, to integrate with your identity provider (ie ADFS or other). Qmarkets’ software can also accommodate SSO synchronization with Google G Suite for user authentication and provisioning.
In addition it is recommended to synchronize the full organizational details of your users with the Qmarkets system, using an automatic file-based synchronization performed once a day or week through secured FTP, or SCIM for integrating directly with your active directory.
Enterprise Communication & Collaboration
Integration with enterprise social tools such as MS Teams and Slack allow you to embed your digital innovation platform directly into your existing collaboration ecosystem, helping you to increase awareness and engagement for your activities.
These integrations enable you to provide ongoing news feeds that display activity from within your Qmarkets platform, making sure all relevant people are up to date with your latest innovations.
Marketing & Promotion
Social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn offer a variety of ways to engage your users and communicate your message to large and different audiences. Especially useful for open innovation crowdsourcing campaigns, our integrations with social platforms allow you to promote your innovation initiative through channels which can significantly enhance exposure for your project.
In addition, we can offer the option to non-employees to register and login via social networks.
Portfolio & Project Management (PPLM)
Although Qmarkets offers built-in program and project management functionality, many of our customers already have their own, more robust project management software. Through intelligent automations, ideas reaching a certain stage can easily become projects through export to any third-party project management platform that you might use.
The Qmarkets innovation software integration connects between the two platforms and enables Qmarkets’ system to scan for updates on your project progress, current status, or budget, and update this data on the platform.
IP & Patent Lifecycle (IPLM)
In some cases, your ideas might result from patents that are managed in other tools outside of our ecosystem. In these instances we recommend you pull the relevant patents from these tools and connect them to ideas and campaigns in the system to record the inspiration path between the patents and anything on the system that’s related to them. On the other hand, if an idea from your system results in a patent, it is simple to make the same connection in reverse. Once a patent is recorded on our system we suggest using our collaboration and evaluation features to discuss any implications and opportunities internally.
Business Intelligence & 3rd Party Reporting Tools
Although Qmarkets offers built-in reports and enhanced capabilities to define KPIs and create custom reports to effectively analyze content, activities and user behavior, in some cases customers might prefer to use their own BI software. To facilitate this, we enable the automated export of relevant data from our database on a regular basis for further analysis using your preferred software.
