Qmarkets, one of the leading providers of innovation management software and collective intelligence solutions, marks today 10 years of operation and the strongest year ever in terms of overall sales, revenue growth, and new customers.

The innovation frontrunner saw in 2016 a 27% increase in the number of customers, 50% growth in revenue, and a 100% growth in sales in the US market.

This data was released at Qmarkets’ Annual Global Event, which saw Qmarkets employees come together from across the globe at the company headquarters in Israel.

“This is special time for our Company”, says Noam Danon, Qmarket’s founder and CEO. “When we founded Qmarkets ten years ago, innovation management and idea management weren’t even coined terms. Most companies did not see their general employees as a source of innovative ideas, and very few looked for a platform that would help bring those ideas to fruition. Research companies such as Gartner and Forrester, did not yet view innovation management as an established field of operation.”

“Fast forward ten years later, and we are seeing wide deployment of innovation management and idea management software tools in companies of all sizes and in all verticals. Today most enterprise-grade companies view idea & innovation management tools as an essential building block in their efforts to achieve digital transformation, conduct both disruptive and incremental innovation, and hold their own in highly competitive markets.”

“Accordingly, this is reflected in the coverage we receive today by leading research firms such as Gartner and Forrester that cover our field and view it as essential to corporations.”

Another interesting development Mr. Danon notes is the deployment of innovation management tools in areas that were not envisioned ten years ago.

“We also launched Q-City, a tool for engaging citizens. Q-City takes us out of the corporate world into a completely new type of organization and audience. We launched this after discovering that our platform has huge potential when applied by governments and municipalities to as a form of digital democracy.”

Adds Mr. Danon, “I’m sure that our next ten years will be as groundbreaking and fruitful as the last ten!”
