SSO also provides enhanced security, avoiding the need to manual username/password authentication methods that are considered less secured.
This is why we recommend on performing a one-time integration with your back-end employee database (normally Active Directory), and allows your users to seamlessly login to our platform without the need to type in a username & password.
This integration can be expanded to retrieve additional information about every user, like their department, job description, branch location, age etc. This information could be very useful when running reports, or for inviting the right people to participate in a specific campaign (i.e. a campaign that is open for a specific department/s, branch or geographic location (city/country/region).
On the technical level, our SSO can use standard protocols like Kerberos or SAML, or proprietary methods used by your IT department. For connecting to the Active Directory for retrieving user profile information, we normally use the LDAP interface.
